Enjoy a visit at the General Knox House, located on the Historical Trail. In the winter of 1775-1776, General Henry Knox brought cannons and ammunition from Ticonderoga, NY to George Washington in Boston, MA. This trek was made using sleds and oxen to pull heavy artillery. A monument can be seen in each town on this trek. One of these monuments dedicated to Henry Knox with a bronze plaque picture, depicting this event, can be seen just approximately 200 feet from the entrance of the General Knox House Bed and Breakfast. Come share the history and culture of old New England.
A common living room is provided with a fireplace for gatherings where you can visit, read, or just enjoy the fireplace. You can eat breakfast in your room, in the gazebo, on the porch, or in the kitchen, all with a scenic country atmosphere. Coffee and tea are available at all times.
